About The Position
The Chester Family YMCA is currently seeking part time responsible individuals to oversee gymnasium services and activities. We are looking for candidates who are available to work weekend mornings. Requirements
- Service oriented, role model with a member first attitude.
- Able to recognize and respond to unsafe situations.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer, telephone and related business equipment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Oversee gymnasium services and activities.
- Perform special projects as assigned.
- Maintain gymnasium equipment and inventory.
- Set up and break down events.
- Maintain surveillance during games, activities, and member participation.
- Facilitate seating and set up for gym rental, as necessary.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with members and staff.
