Gym Membership Manager
About The Position
Our growing Anytime Fitness clubs in Westchester County are looking for the best-of-the-best Gym Managers and Personal Trainers/Coaches. Part Time, or Full Time is available for the right person, with opportunities to make additional commissions. Health Club 1+ years experience in managing fitness center(s) is required, and candidates must live locally (within a 30-minute radius). A Personal Training Certification and experience is strongly preferred but not mandated. The role requires availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as the facility is open 24/7/365. A reliable car is necessary, and training may occur at other locations in Westchester County before opening. AF locations are an "Equal Opportunity Employer." Requirements
- 1+ years experience in managing fitness center(s)
- Must live locally (30 minute radius max)
- Must be able to work weekends, evenings and Holidays
- Must have your own reliable car
- High school or equivalent
- English and Spanish (Preferred)
- Certified Personal Trainer Certification (Preferred)
- Day Shift (Required)
- Night Shift (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Personal Training Certification + experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Exceptional customer service at the club (i.e. handling prospective members, members' needs, security etc.).
- Managing facilities with top-notch cleaning and organizational skills.
- Managing emails and/or daily ongoing marketing + communications.
- Sales of Membership and Personal Training (ideal for those certified in training).
- Clerical office work (i.e. CRM database, some filing, payment tracking/billing).
- Positive and friendly attitude.
- Willing to train and work at multiples locations, as well as handle Pre-Opening Sale leading up to opening (all within a 30 minute radius).
- Willing to work evenings, weekends, and Holidays.
- Must have your own reliable car.
