My Gym is seeking a passionate and dedicated Gym Director to lead our children’s fitness programs. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and create an engaging environment for children and their families. Your leadership will ensure high-quality fitness instruction while fostering a positive and supportive community. The Gym Director oversees the daily operations of the My Gym location, ensuring exceptional service for children and their families. This leadership role requires a blend of business management, team leadership, and customer service skills. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for childhood development and a strong desire to cultivate a vibrant community of families.

Requirements

Proven experience working with young children in an organized play environment
Demonstrated leadership or management experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
Strong willingness to collaborate as a team player and contribute to a positive work environment
Excellent communication skills to engage clearly with staff and guests
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Capacity to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours) while fulfilling job responsibilities

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the center, including class schedules, staff supervision, and facility maintenance
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with families to ensure their satisfaction and engagement
Create and implement strategies to boost enrollment and retain currently-enrolled families
Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff
