About The Position

Southern Outdoor Restoration (SOR) is hiring Exterior Cleaning Technicians for their gutter cleaning crews in Raleigh. This is a full-time position with paid training starting August 24th. The role involves working outdoors, using hands, and working on ladders and roofs. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive paid training will be provided. Technicians can expect to earn $18-$19 per hour to start, with weekly pay every Friday. There are opportunities for raises and internal promotions to salaried leadership roles based on performance. The company emphasizes a fast hiring process, safety, teamwork, and clear communication.

Requirements

A valid NC driver's license and a clean driving record.
Dependable transportation to our North Raleigh warehouse.
Dependability: Be on site by 7:30 AM Monday through Friday.
Comfort working at heights.
Ability to read and follow written and verbal safety instructions in English.
Willingness to raise a hand early when something is unclear or off track.
A drug-free, safety-first mindset and professional conduct on the job.
Physical capability to meet the demands of the role.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; we do not sponsor visas.

Nice To Haves

Prior outdoor or physical work (construction, landscaping, roofing, moving, warehouse, agriculture) is helpful.
Ladder, roof, or elevated work experience is a real plus.
A team-first attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.

Responsibilities

Handle hoses, wands, ladders, and safety harnesses correctly and safely.
Meet OSHA and internal safety standards on every job.
Lift or pull up to 75 lbs, including holding equipment overhead for stretches of time.
Work at height within fall-protection guidelines.
Follow daily job assignments and safety protocols accurately.
