About The Position

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G450 & G550 Captain for an operation at KAUS airport. The Captain will safely operate the aircraft and conduct flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, and approved aircraft procedures. The role requires working on an on-call basis and completing annual ICAO international procedures training. The primary residence must be within a two-hour drive of KAUS, or the candidate must be willing to relocate.

Requirements

• 3,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 PIC hours.
• 1,500 MEL hours.
• 500 MEL PIC hours.
• 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• 250 instrument hours.
• Type rating on the Gulfstream G450 & G550 or comparable aircraft.
• Current first-class medical required.
• Must be able to work on an on-call basis.
• Must complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KAUS or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the Gulfstream G450 & G550 aircraft.
• Review the aircraft’s maintenance status.
• Conduct a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather and facilities along the planned route and at airports to be used, including alternate airports.
• Conduct flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Complete trip paperwork accurately in accordance with current procedures.
