About The Position

Fly Alliance is seeking an experienced and professional Gulfstream Captain to join our growing flight operations team. As Pilot in Command (PIC), you'll be entrusted with the safe, efficient, and exceptional operation of our Gulfstream aircraft while delivering the level of service our clients expect from a premier private aviation company. We're looking for a Captain who brings strong aeronautical judgement, professionalism, leadership, and a safety-first mindset to every flight.

Requirements

  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
  • Appropriate Gulfstream type rating
  • Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • Current and qualified to perform assigned flight duties
  • Must reside on the East Coast, preferably near ORL, OPF, or TEB
  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations and Part 135 flight operations
  • Excellent aeronautical decision-making and situational awareness
  • Strong communication, leadership, and Crew Resource Management skills
  • Ability to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and customer service
  • Ability to successfully complete all company-required training and qualification requirements

  • Preference will given to candidates who live near one of our key FBO locations: Orlando, Florida (ORL) Opa-locka, Florida (OPF) Teterboro, New Jersey (TEB) Providence, Rhode Island Boston, Massachusetts (BED)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) with responsibility for the safe operation of the aircraft, passengers, crew, and cargo.
  • Lead and supervise assigned crewmembers throughout all phases of flight operations.
  • Exercise sound aeronautical judgement in flight planning and decision-making, considering weather, NOTAMs, fuel, weight and balance, aircraft condition, MEL/CDL items, airport conditions, crew rest, and other operational factors.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable FAA regulations, Part 135 requirements, company policies, procedures, and operating standards.
  • Maintain required qualifications, currency, medical certification, and knowledge of applicable routes, airports, and aircraft.
  • Coordinate effectively with Flight Operations, Maintenance Control, Crew Scheduling, and other operational teams.
  • Conduct required preflight and post-flight inspections and ensure aircraft discrepancies are properly documented and communicated.
  • Complete required flight documentation, logs, reports, and duty-time records accurately and on time.
  • Provide leadership in the cockpit and promote effective Crew Resource Management (CRM).
  • Actively support Fly Alliance’s Safety Management System (SMS) and safety culture.
  • Deliver a professional, polished, and service-focused experience for our passengers on every trip.
