About The Position

Ensemble Performing Arts is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional guitar teacher to join their team at Evolve Dance Company in Rockford, IL. The ideal candidate will have availability from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on weekdays and a strong music background. Preference will be given to candidates who can also teach beginning piano. The role involves providing quality instruction to students, contributing to a supportive work environment, and accessing professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Strong music background evidenced by a degree in performance or equivalent performing experience.
• Demonstrated love of teaching.
• Experience working with young musicians.
• Robust appreciation for punctuality.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a routine background check.
• Availability from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM on weekdays.
