About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a skilled musician and educator to teach private music lessons and inspire students. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. The role includes building positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates; coordinating with store teams on lesson scheduling and student retention; and sharing musical expertise to foster student growth. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching. The position offers a non-teaching rate of $15.16 per hour and a teaching rate of $10.50–$21 per hour, depending on background and experience. Musicians may also take gig leave to perform or tour and return to their job afterward. The company offers benefits and perks including a 401(k) with company match and an employee discount program. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
Two years of music teaching experience, especially with guitar.

Nice To Haves

Teaching experience with related instruments.
Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.
