About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire PolicyCenter Technical Lead with a strong background in Guidewire development and implementation, particularly on the Guidewire Cloud platform. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, drive development efforts, and ensure the successful delivery of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions. This role involves a blend of hands-on development, technical guidance, and coordination between onsite and offshore teams to meet client business needs and resolve production incidents.

Requirements

  • Certified Guidewire Policy Center professional Associate or ACE.
  • 5 to 8 years of hands-on work experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter modules.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Guidewire Configuration and/or Integration.
  • One complete end-to-end implementation experience for Guidewire Cloud.
  • Development experience with Guidewire Gosu proprietary code.
  • Development experience with Guidewire API's, methods, rules, and processes.
  • Guidewire PolicyCenter technical lead experience.
  • Experience working with AWS Aurora, SQL Server, or Oracle database.
  • Experience with Application Servers such as WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, or JBoss.
  • Experience with J2EE application containers.
  • Mandatory Skills: Guidewire-PolicyCenter
  • Required Skills: Oracle Applications

Nice To Haves

  • Cloud Certified Guidewire PolicyCenter with experience for implementation and state rollouts.
  • Configuration for state-specific forms, rating business rules, UW issues, PCF changes, and integrations.
  • Experience in Advanced Product Designer, Integration Gateway.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and support Guidewire PolicyCenter on Cloud.
  • Provide technical leadership to junior Guidewire associates regarding Guidewire development and support.
  • Develop configuration and integration features as per requirements.
  • Understand client business needs, assess technical feasibility, and communicate requirements to the offshore team for quality deliverables.
  • Invest 40-60% of time in development work for releases.
  • Coordinate onsite and offshore teams for resolving production incidents.
  • Review offshore development work in areas of PCF Configuration, Business Rules, and Data Model Creation.
  • Manage and communicate team status to management.
  • Provide technical support for Guidewire PolicyCenter in production.
  • Coordinate with the team to analyze defects.
  • Coordinate with other service providers and integration owners to ensure applications are up and running.
