Guidewire Developer
About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Developer with at least 4 years of experience to join our team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining PolicyCenter functionality within the Guidewire Platform, adhering to proper patterns and standard practices for software solutions. This position requires a strong understanding of the insurance business and the ability to translate business requirements into system changes. You will work with various Guidewire tools and frameworks, including configuration of screen layouts, data models, rulesets, and workflows. Experience with tools like GIT, Jenkins, and Maven is essential.
Requirements
- Guidewire development experience for at least 4+ years.
- Experience relating to configuration of screen layouts including creation of new screens and enhancement to others and XML changes.
- Understanding of the insurance business and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders to translate business requirements into system changes.
- Experience in configuration of the company structure including single/multiple organizations, roles, permissions, groups, and producer codes.
- Full understanding of the Guidewire Product Suite and the frameworks available for development workflows, data model changes, and rulesets.
- Knowledge in configuration and coding using Guidewire tools, accelerators, batches, and predefined plugins.
- Experience working with tools such as GIT, Jenkins, Maven, and code release tools.
- Experience in configuring new offerings, question sets, coverages, and limits within Product Designer.
- Seven to 10+ years of experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- One to 3+ years of experience as an Application Consultant.
