About The Position

Bright Vision Technologies is hiring a full-time Guidewire Application Developer to deliver configuration, integration, and customization across Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter) and Guidewire Cloud. The work focuses on hands-on Gosu development, integration design, product model configuration, and Guidewire Cloud upgrades. The developer will work with business analysts and subject matter experts to deliver reliable insurance-platform features, and collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to turn ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions. The role also includes contributing to code and design reviews and mentoring more junior engineers. The position is 100% remote in the U.S., direct W2, with an annual salary of $100,000. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least five years of Guidewire development experience; the posting also lists six or more years as experience required.
• Deep expertise in Gosu programming and the Guidewire data model.
• Hands-on customization experience with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
• Strong understanding of product model and rule design.
• Experience building Guidewire integrations, including messaging, batch, or plugin integrations.
• Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of the Guidewire database schema.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Track record of delivering meaningful Guidewire work in production for insurance carriers.

Nice To Haves

• Guidewire ACE certifications.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud upgrades.
• Familiarity with Guidewire Digital portals or DataHub/InfoCenter.
• Insurance domain expertise across property and casualty lines.
• Experience with reinsurance, policy administration, or claims modernization programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver configuration, integration, and customization across Guidewire InsuranceSuite and Guidewire Cloud.
• Develop in Gosu and design Guidewire integrations.
