BAE Systems•Westminster, CO
•$49,592 - $68,993•Onsite

About The Position

The GN&C Engineering Intern will participate in BAE Systems' nationwide LEAP Internship & Co-op Program, which offers opportunities to work alongside experienced professionals on impactful projects, take part in career development, and network with business leaders and other students. At BAE Space & Mission Systems, the Space Vehicle GN&C team supports spacecraft-bus attitude determination and control subsystems (ADCS), as well as line-of-sight and mechanism controls for payloads and space vehicles. The intern will work with a team to develop and test guidance, navigation, and control systems for space programs, from preliminary design through flight. The role is part of the Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit, whose cross-functional teams deliver technologies for customer missions and emphasize innovation, integrity, continual learning, and execution. Work is performed on-site five days each normally scheduled week. Travel and local commuting between company campuses and other locations may be required. Work may take place in an office, laboratory, production floor, cleanroom, outdoors, or a remote research environment. Occasional work in production areas may require protective equipment, and access to other facilities may involve varying weather conditions.
