About The Position

The Staybridge Suites Rochester University hotel is looking for an enthusiastic Full-Time hospitality professional to join our Guest Services Team! Hotel Experience is Preferred but not necessary. Great Attitude, Personality, Dedication and Willingness to provide Top Notch Guest Experiences is what it's all about. We can train you on the skills, but you need to provide the rest. Evening and weekend availability is required. We offer competitive pay based upon experience, as well as outstanding benefits including travel discounts around the world! We'd love to invite you to apply for our Guest Services Representative position. The position starts between $16.75 - $18 per hour (depending on experience).

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service preferably at the front desk or in guest services
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse guests from around the world
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude and excellent communication abilities
  • Familiarity with hotel management software and multi-line phone systems is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of hotel operations or hotel experience that demonstrates adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle night audit procedures confidently and accurately when required
  • Exceptional phone etiquette skills to manage guest inquiries professionally over the phone
  • Previous experience in guest relations or customer service roles within the hospitality industry is preferred

  • Hotel Experience is Preferred but not necessary.
  • Familiar with IHG’s HotelKey or Hilton’s PEP reservation program very helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls efficiently and professionally using proper phone etiquette
  • Handle data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records and organized files
  • Support office management tasks such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, and correspondence handling
  • Assist with clerical duties including typing, copying, faxing, and maintaining office supplies
  • Provide customer support by responding to inquiries via phone or email with professionalism and clarity
  • Utilize computer skills across Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other relevant software to streamline daily operations.
  • Familiar with IHG’s HotelKey or Hilton’s PEP reservation program very helpful.
