Hotel Equities is searching for a Guest Services Representative for the Marriott Fort Collins, Colorado. This role involves responding professionally and courteously to guests, providing accurate information and services, and handling inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns. The goal is to provide warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance to reassure guests they have made the right choice. Key responsibilities include greeting and welcoming guests, registering them into the computer system, promoting preferred guest programs, and managing payments and house banks. The role also involves issuing key access to safety deposit boxes, resolving guest complaints promptly, and handling telephone inquiries and reservations efficiently. Additionally, the position may involve assisting with shuttle services, handling guest luggage, using guest names, providing local area information, managing messages, wake-up calls, mail, and faxes, and assisting with laundry/dry cleaning needs. The representative will also be aware of incoming VIPs, follow Standard Operating Procedures, and perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager. A positive and helpful attitude towards team members and a willingness to assist other departments in emergencies are expected. Adherence to all company rules, procedures, and policies is required.
