This role is for a Guest Services Representative at the TownePlace Suites in Mechanicsburg, PA. As a representative, you will be the primary point of contact for guests, embodying the hotel's commitment to service by responding courteously and efficiently to guest needs. You will serve as a knowledgeable source of information about the hotel and the local area, and assist guests throughout their arrival and departure processes. Key responsibilities also include managing the switchboard and handling departmental accounting and financial transactions relevant to the front desk operations.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred.
• The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong math, reading, and communication skills.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Responding to guest requests and inquiries.
• Taking, modifying, and canceling guest reservations.
• Communicating hotel facilities and services to all guests.
• Providing information on the local area and points of interest.
• Assisting guests with arrivals and departures.
• Answering the front desk phone.
• Cash handling.
