About The Position

Join Our Team as a Guest Services Representative (Front Desk) at the DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville Downtown. At Parks Hospitality Group, we are looking for a skilled Guest Services Representative to provide exceptional service for our guests. In this role, you will handle guest check-ins and check-outs, assist with inquiries, and ensure a memorable guest experience. You will also assist in training new Guest Services Representatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a front desk or guest services role.
  • TIPS certification required at hire.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival and provide a positive first impression.
  • Perform check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrate professional phone etiquette, answering calls promptly and providing accurate information.
  • Process payments, handle cash, and maintain accurate guest account records.
  • Provide information on hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Assist with luggage storage and wake-up calls as needed.
  • Ensure the front desk and lobby areas are tidy and organized.
  • Assist in training and mentoring other Guest Services Representatives.
