About The Position

Playground is an internationally renowned gaming destination located a short 15-minute drive south of downtown Montreal, within the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake. We are currently expanding, unveiling new gaming floors, a luxurious hotel, and specialized dining options. We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Guest Services Attendant to play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our valued guests. We are committed to creating a welcoming and entertaining atmosphere for all, and we need passionate individuals to help us achieve this goal.

Requirements

Must be perfectly bilingual (French and English) and 18 years or older
Must have a valid work permit or be a Canadian resident
Must have strong writing skills in French and English
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team setting
Ability to multitask while remaining calm and professional
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays
Knowledge of MS Office Suite and strong computer skills

Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests in a warm, courteous and professional manner
Inform guests about Playground policies and answer their questions
Answer emails, phone calls and messages in a timely and professional manner
Sign-up new customers and create new players cards
Assist guests with merchandise purchases
Restock department supplies inventory on a regular basis
Responsible for balancing the cash register
Monitor lost and found items
Responsible for remaining knowledgeable of the Daily Tournaments/ Cash Games (Stakes and buy-in amounts)
Responsible for remaining knowledgeable of all current and upcoming promotions on the gaming floor
Responsible for enrolling players on Poker wait list
Knowledge of our Rewards programs to assist players in claiming
Work with a variety of different departments to assure the best possible service
Maintain Daily Reports to facilitate proper communication between the Player Services Team as well as Administration and other Departments
