Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year in grocery.
  • At least 6 months in a leadership role like Customer Service Representative.
  • Solid understanding of customer service operations, with the ability to make timely and effective decisions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates while managing a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to lead, educate, and train others.
  • Thorough understanding of all safety policies, with the ability to apply on-the-job safety training to recognize and address safety hazards.

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent guest service, including greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Reinforcing Festival Foods values throughout the store and ensuring an exceptional guest experience by leading the team during afternoon and evening shifts.
  • Setting clear performance expectations and guiding associates to deliver outstanding customer service daily.
  • Assisting in the development and supervision of Guest Services associates, including facilitating Bagger training and fostering a productive, customer-focused environment.
  • Overseeing department productivity and labor, aligning staffing levels to meet business needs and achieve target goals.
  • Maintaining loss prevention (asset protection) policies and enforcing safety programs to create a secure work environment.
  • Maintaining regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and providing adequate notice for occasional absences.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
