About The Position

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Associate to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for our guests and plays a key part in creating a welcoming and memorable experience. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, multitasking, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service or front desk experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn reservation software
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service
  • Book and manage reservations using our reservation system
  • Answer phone calls, emails, text messaging, and inquiries in a professional manner
  • Schedule guest activities and provide information on available offerings
  • Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions accurately
  • Promote and sell merchandise, rentals, and add-on services
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area. Includes general office cleaning.
  • Assists with laundry (washing, drying, folding).
  • Assist guests with questions, directions, and general information. Knowledgeable about Spruce Pine, NC and surrounding communities, local events and area attractions and activities.
  • Resolve guest concerns or escalate issues as needed. Communicates any problems, concerns, or suggestions to supervisor in a professional and timely manner
  • Assists with administrative tasks including data management, guest record review, entering invoices into accounting system, and reporting.
  • Assists with general store inventory management (wearing apparel, accessories, food, and beverage) including sales transactions and physical inventory counts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
