About The Position

This is a seasonal role for a Guest Services Agent. The primary responsibilities include registering guests, securing payments, issuing keys, checking out guests, settling folios, posting charges, creating reservations, relaying instructions to Bell Persons, sorting mail and messages, blocking and dispensing rooms, maintaining a bank, providing information about the property and its services, and completing special assignments. The role operates in a diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment requiring multi-project coordination, prioritizing, and flexibility to accommodate last-minute requests and changes. Requirements

  • Ability to register guests, secure payment, and issue keys.
  • Proficiency in checking out guests, settling folios, and posting charges.
  • Skill in creating reservations.
  • Ability to issue room keys and communicate with Bell Persons.
  • Capability to sort and manage incoming mail and messages.
  • Competence in blocking and dispensing rooms.
  • Experience in maintaining a bank according to policies.
  • Knowledge of property, services, and events to answer guest questions.
  • Willingness to complete special assignments.
  • Flexibility to accommodate last-minute requests and changes.

Responsibilities

  • Registers guests, secures payment, issues keys and related materials per established departmental policies and procedures.
  • Checks out guests, settles all pay folios, and posts charges per established departmental policies and procedures.
  • Creates reservations based on established guidelines.
  • Issues room keys and relays instructions to Bell Person.
  • Dates, stamps, sorts and racks incoming mail and messages.
  • Blocks and dispenses rooms for arriving guests.
  • Maintains bank in accordance with established company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Is familiar with property, services, and events; answers questions and provides information as requested by guests.
  • Completes special assignments for Supervisor Hotel Operations and above as requested.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
