Guest Services Agent
About The Position
The primary role of the Guest Services Agent is to provide a friendly, welcoming, and caring greeting to each person entering Essentia Health. This involves approaching and greeting individuals in a professional, warm, and accepting manner, anticipating visitor needs by offering and giving assistance, answering questions, providing directions, and when appropriate, escorting visitors to a specific destination. The position also provides patient information, secures wheelchairs, and interfaces with volunteers who assist with hospitality and escorting. The agent will offer information about the Essentia campus and additional resources, as well as basic community resources like lodging, bus service, and taxi service.

- Experience in an information/hospitality desk or customer service environment.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an Information/Hospitality Desk or customer service environment.
Responsibilities
- Answers and responds to internal and external calls.
- Acts as a source of information for staff, patients, and visitors.
- Directs and escorts patients and visitors.
- Delivers flowers and/or belongings to patients and staff.
- Assists patients with finding community resources, including lodging, bus services, taxi services, etc.
- Provides patient information as appropriate.
- Assists people into the facility.
