About The Position

The Guest Service Specialist is responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences by delivering professional and personalized front office service. This role manages guest check-in and check-out processes, responds to guest requests and concerns, and supports daily front desk operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy. The Guest Service Specialist serves as a key point of contact for guests while maintaining brand standards, promoting teamwork, and fostering a welcoming and service-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while ensuring accuracy in reservations, billing, and room assignments
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and a guest-first approach
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Bell Services, Engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Maintain accurate room inventory, reservation details, and payment processing in accordance with company standards
  • Assist with training and supporting new and existing front office associates
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality assurance standards
  • Review daily logs, reports, and shift information to maintain operational continuity
  • Promote teamwork and positive working relationships across departments
  • Support operational efficiency by assisting management with front office coverage, communication, and guest service initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment at all times
