Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-3 years of front desk, reservations, or customer service-oriented role (required)
  • Must be enthusiastic, upbeat, and energetic
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work a diverse work schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Must work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
  • Must be able to effectively use computers and technologies, including answering the phones, using computers, copiers, fax machines as well as credit card or cash machines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • All-Hands-On-Deck mindset (required)

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Complete guest check-ins and check-outs.
  • Answer phones, emails, and guest inquiries promptly.
  • Process reservations, payments, refunds, and retail sales.
  • Assist guests with campground information, directions, and local attractions.
  • Resolve guest concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Explain campground rules, policies, and amenities.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and daily reports.
  • Operate the reservation and point-of-sale system.
  • Clean and sanitize bathhouses, restrooms, and showers.
  • Clean the clubhouse, office, laundry room, and other common areas.
  • Empty trash and replace liners throughout the property.
  • Restock restroom and cleaning supplies.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, doors, and high-touch surfaces.
  • Report maintenance issues or safety concerns immediately.
  • Ensure all facilities meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Keep the office, entrance, and common areas neat and inviting.
  • Pick up litter throughout the campground.
  • Help maintain outdoor furniture and amenity areas.
  • Assist with light landscaping duties such as watering plants when needed.
  • Help prepare sites and amenities for arriving guests.
  • Stock and organize the camp store.
  • Monitor inventory and notify management of low stock.
  • Merchandise displays to maintain an attractive retail area.
  • Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
  • Perform daily cash handling and balancing procedures.
  • Provide outstanding hospitality to every guest.
  • Promote campground events, promotions, and amenities.
  • Build positive relationships with guests and encourage repeat visits.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Follow all campground safety policies and procedures.
  • Report accidents, incidents, and hazards immediately.
  • Ensure cleaning chemicals are used and stored properly.
  • Help maintain a safe environment for guests and coworkers.
  • Follow all company policies regarding confidentiality and guest privacy.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance and management.
  • Assist other departments during busy periods.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
