Responsibilities

  • Serve and learn the immediate needs of customers, offering honest and sincere advice, and welcoming them to the Homes Alive community.
  • Operate cash registers and accurately handle cash.
  • Maintain stock on the shelves, product detail communication for your specific section (e.g., price tags, sales signs), and clean and face products and shelves.
  • Self-initiate service to co-workers and leaders to assist with any projects or tasks.
  • Complete routine tasks specified in checklists and delegated by leaders, and follow proper system procedures for efficiency, effective communication, and accuracy of inventory.
  • Take initiative in any possible opportunities to learn and develop skills or knowledge within Homes Alive.
  • Help customers find supplies for their pets.
  • Provide information about pet care and nutrition.
  • Assist customers at the cash register.
  • Ensure the store is clean and presentable.
  • Keep inventory on the shelves full and well organized.
  • Interact with dogs and cats and hand out treats.
