About The Position
As a Guest Service Associate at European Wax Center, you are the face of the brand. You're the first impression, the warm welcome, and the reason guests come back. You'll educate guests on our services and products, keep the front desk running smoothly, and help build a center culture that people genuinely love being part of. We're Ballast Wax, a fast-growing multi-unit EWC franchisee. Requirements
- Guests remember how you made them feel. You make it count.
- Your energy is warm, genuine, and professional - and guests feel it the moment they walk in.
- You're comfortable selling without being pushy. You educate, you recommend, and you let the value speak for itself.
- You have a real example of a time you made a guest feel genuinely taken care of - not just served.
- You can handle a busy front desk. Phones ringing, guests checking in, a question mid-transaction - you stay calm and get it done.
- You're a team player. You show up, pitch in, and make the people around you better.
- You're available when guests are - evenings and weekends included.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet every guest with professionalism and genuine enthusiasm
- Educate guests on services, policies, and what to expect during their visit
- Answer phones, manage the reservation book, and handle guest inquiries
- Create an environment guests want to return to - and tell their friends about
- Educate every guest on EWC Wax Pass savings, products, and promotions
- Confidently communicate the benefits of waxing frequency and skincare products
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales and rebooking goals
- Actively contribute to center-wide performance targets
- Support opening and closing procedures and daily administrative tasks
- Accurately process transactions and manage guest profiles through POS
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and front desk area
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
