About The Position

You will be at the center of the hotel's universe-the front office. We need someone to be the face at our front desk. Are you happy, outgoing and wear a perma-smile? Do you want to create a warm and welcoming environment for our guests by sharing your knowledge of the area? Then this could be the job for you. In addition to generally spreading joy, you’ll be making sure all guests receive excellent service from check-in to check-out. A lot goes into creating a perfect hotel stay, and you’ll play a huge role in this. We are looking to you to OWN the front desk area.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Must be a people-person.
  • Ability to interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive manner at all times.
  • Ability to fulfill requests (even challenging ones) in a timely manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Three to six months of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate clearly and demonstrate a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and adapt to changing situations.
  • Share knowledge of local happenings in restaurants, entertainment, and sporting events with guests.
  • Handle cash responsibly and reliably.
  • Utilize computers, databases, and property management systems to efficiently handle the technical aspects of the job.
  • Interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive manner at all times.
  • Fulfill requests, even challenging ones, in a timely manner.
