About The Position
We are looking for someone to be the face of our front desk, creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests by sharing local knowledge. The role involves ensuring guests receive excellent service from check-in to check-out and taking ownership of the front desk area. This position requires clear communication, a high level of professionalism, and a passion for exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, entertainment, and sporting events, and be adept at handling cash responsibly and using computers, databases, and property management systems.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Three to six months of related experience (preferred).
- Must be a people-person.
- Ability to interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive manner at all times.
- Ability to fulfill requests (even challenging ones) in a timely manner.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
