About The Position

We are looking for a Reception Ambassador to join our Front Office team. This is a permanent full-time position, 30 hours a week. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for managing check-ins and check-outs, confirming reservations, issuing room keys, and resolving any billing inquiries. You will also handle various payment methods, settle bills, and assist departing guests. Additionally, you will manage guest calls and messages, coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness, provide directions and local recommendations, and run daily reports. You will also be responsible for cash handling and ensuring accuracy according to accounting standards. Maintaining safety protocols, protecting company and guest information, and presenting a clean, professional appearance are crucial. You will welcome guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and ensure everyone feels appreciated through positive vibes and clear communication. This role requires compliance with quality assurance standards, and the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and move, lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Other reasonable job duties may be requested by supervisors.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with the local area.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of systems like FSPMS, MARSHA, GUESTWARE, and MICROS is advantageous.
  • Ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in line with the R Image Standard.
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
