About The Position

Provides exceptional guest service by welcoming and seating guests, managing restaurant flow, coordinating with restaurant team members, and supporting front-of-house operations. Creates a positive first impression by delivering Kalispel Hospitality while ensuring efficient seating, communication, and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit II.
  • Washington State Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification.
  • Valid Washington State Food Worker Card.
  • Hepatitis A vaccination.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when required by business needs.
  • Ability to maintain consistent, regular attendance.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Frequently stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently use hands and fingers to operate restaurant equipment and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Frequently communicate verbally with guests and team members.
  • Occasionally climb stairs or ramps.
  • Occasionally bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift from floor level.
  • Possess close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • One to three months of related customer service or restaurant experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in a full-service restaurant environment preferred.
  • Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with guests and team members.
  • Ability to maintain a positive, friendly, and welcoming demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to resolve guest concerns professionally and effectively.

  • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and guest seating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance with Kalispel Tribe of Indians Internal Controls and Kalispel Hospitality policies and procedures.
  • Welcomes guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
  • Creates a positive first impression by making guests feel special.
  • Seats guests promptly using established seating rotation procedures within the DineTime system.
  • Maintains knowledge of daily and seasonal menu offerings, food presentation, and plating standards.
  • Answers incoming telephone calls, greets callers professionally, and transfers calls accurately and efficiently.
  • Resolves guest concerns or service issues and escalates concerns to the Shift Supervisor when appropriate.
  • Communicates effectively with other Guest Service Attendants (GSAs), servers, and restaurant team members to ensure efficient operations.
  • Assists with food running to ensure timely and accurate delivery of meals when assigned or needed.
  • Resets and details tables, chairs, and dining areas to maintain cleanliness and readiness for incoming guests.
  • Completes assigned side work and maintains appropriate supply levels throughout the shift.
  • Assists with special projects and other operational duties as assigned.
  • Attends required meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintains consistent, regular attendance.
  • Works varying schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and additional hours as required by business needs.
  • May serve as a panelist for Internal Review Hearings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
