About The Position

This opportunity is at their 102-room Toftrees Golf Resort, located amid 1,500 scenic wooded acres in Centre County, Pennsylvania. Toftrees Golf Resort features unique guestrooms and suites, an outdoor heated pool, fitness center, 11 event rooms, and a golf course with a driving range and putting green. The resort also hosts The Field Burger and Tap restaurant. The golf course has been rated 4½ stars and featured in Golf Digest's "Places to Play," and the hotel and meeting space was named one of the Top 75 Golf Conference Center Resorts in the U.S.A. by Meetings & Conventions magazine. The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining quality and cleanliness standards in guest rooms, handling guest complaints, and observing safety and security procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year cleaning experience
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
  • Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
  • Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
  • Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.
  • Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
  • Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
  • Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
  • Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
