About The Position

Welcome to the Wellsworth Hotel! As a Guest Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms to ensure the hotel's established standards of cleanliness. This role involves reporting maintenance deficiencies, handling guest requests and complaints, and ensuring the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms. You will also be expected to maintain quality and cleanliness standards throughout your daily assignments, observe all house and safety rules, and complete deep cleaning or seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year cleaning experience
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
  • Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
  • Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
  • Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
  • Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
  • Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.
  • Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
  • Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
  • Other duties as assigned.
