About The Position

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of vacant or occupied guest rooms to our established standards.

Requirements

  • Able to maintain a 4-Diamond level of service.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks based on guest needs.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure rooms are cleaned in a timely manner.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 35 pounds and move heavy objects and equipment up to 150 pounds without assistance.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Able to work with Management on special projects.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness in the guest room according to SOP’S.
  • Ensure the Select Guest and VIP room are serviced to SOPs.
  • Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and amenities.
  • Vacuum, dust, and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Clean bathrooms, including scrubbing sinks, toilets, and showers.
  • Remove room service tables and trays from guest rooms.
  • Replenish amenities such as toiletries and supplies.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
  • Complete daily task sheet assignment.
  • Monitor and report DND (do not disturb) rooms.
  • Report and return Lost & Found items to Housekeeping.
  • Maintain and protect work equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness in GRA’s truck.
  • Stock GRA ‘s truck with linen and guest supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in floor linen closets.
  • Report any changes in the room status.
  • Maintain clear and efficient communication with supervisor and housekeeping office.
  • Report and monitor guest room maintenance issue.
  • Participate in a motivating and productive team working environment.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.
