About The Position

Shaner Hotels is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Housekeepers / Room Attendants who are passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences through cleanliness and attention to detail. This position is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms and assigned public areas in accordance with Shaner Hotels and franchise brand standards while ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every guest. Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year of professional cleaning experience; previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and fellow associates.
Knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning products, and housekeeping equipment.
Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.
Ability to prioritize work assignments and meet productivity expectations in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
Commitment to providing exceptional guest service with a positive and professional attitude.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Knowledge of local attractions and area information is beneficial when assisting guests.

Responsibilities

Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel and franchise brand standards, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
Prioritize room assignments based on operational needs, including stayover, checkout, and VIP guest rooms.
Maintain quality, cleanliness, and organization throughout daily assignments.
Observe and comply with all hotel safety policies, housekeeping procedures, security protocols, and company standards.
Inspect guest rooms to ensure all amenities, linens, and supplies are properly stocked and presented.
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and concerns, escalating issues when appropriate to ensure guest satisfaction.
Report maintenance deficiencies, safety hazards, and damaged items to the appropriate department in a timely manner.
Maintain the confidentiality, privacy, and security of guest rooms and guest property.
Properly handle, store, and use cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
Return, clean, and restock housekeeping carts and supplies at the end of each shift.
Complete scheduled deep-cleaning projects and seasonal cleaning assignments.
Assist with cleaning public areas or other housekeeping responsibilities as needed.
Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as business needs require.
Perform other duties as assigned.
