About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the security of guest rooms and their contents. The Guest Room Attendant will clean an assigned number of guest rooms according to company and departmental standards. This includes changing bed linens, collecting and replenishing bath linens, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing room amenities. The position also involves stocking the supply cart, updating room status, completing paperwork, notifying management of needed repairs, and handling guest requests efficiently. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

Ability to change bed linens.
Ability to collect used bath linens and replenish with fresh linens.
Ability to dust hard surfaces.
Ability to vacuum carpeted areas.
Ability to clean bathroom sink, counters, tub and/or shower, toilet, etc.
Ability to replenish room amenities such as tissues, soaps, etc.
Ability to stock supply cart with supplies necessary for cleaning guest rooms.
Ability to update room status and complete requisite departmental paperwork.
Ability to notify housekeeping office of any repairs needed in guest rooms.
Ability to handle guest requests quickly and efficiently.
