About The Position

Shaner Hotels is seeking a Guest Room Attendant for their Seven at Sebring Hotel in Sebring, FL. The hotel is located adjacent to the legendary hairpin turn at Sebring International Raceway and offers spacious guest rooms and suites, extensive meeting space, on-site dining, and views of the raceway. Shaner Hotels is an award-winning hospitality owner-operator and management company with over 65 properties. The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness in guest rooms, handling guest complaints, and adhering to hotel and safety procedures.

Requirements

Minimum one year cleaning experience
Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice To Haves

Previous hotel experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.
Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
Other duties as assigned.
Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
