About The Position

The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms according to franchise and hotel standards. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness, handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, and observing all safety and security procedures. The position requires availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and involves completing additional deep cleaning tasks as scheduled. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
  • Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
  • Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.
  • Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
  • Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
  • Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
  • Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
