About The Position

This role is responsible for welcoming guests to Grafton Farm, answering their questions, and directing them to various areas. The position involves handling payments, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring a fun and safe experience for all guests by following established guidelines and communicating effectively with farm employees. This position also performs other duties as needed or assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions, which are furnished in written and oral form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving standard and nonstandard situations.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others.
• Commitment to superior customer service.
• Proven organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Follow and interpret quantity recipes to prepare a volume of quality bakery items while maintaining proper temperature and sanitary conditions.

• Prior customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Farm Manager.
• Welcome guests to the farm and answer any questions that they might have.
• Direct guests to other areas on the farm.
• Handle cash, check, credit card and gift certificate payments
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Follow all guidelines and procedures outlined in department and health and safety manuals and as set by the Farm Manager.
• Communicate with the rest of the farm employees ensuring that each guest has a fun and safe experience
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned.
