We’re looking for a warm, organized and people-first teammate to join our Winery team supporting both Black Hills Estate Winery and Tinhorn Creek Vineyards. This is a guest relations and administrative role at its core—perfect for someone early in their career or someone looking for a meaningful, customer-focused role in a beautiful winery setting. You’ll be the friendly voice and welcoming presence behind many of our guest and wine club interactions, helping create memorable experiences while supporting the day-to-day coordination of orders, reservations, and guest inquiries. Working closely with the Estate Manager, Direct to Consumer Coordinator, and broader DTC West team, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our guests and wine club members feel valued, supported, and connected to our brand.

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for people and creating positive, memorable customer experiences
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect clearly and warmly both in writing and over the phone
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Comfortable working in an administrative environment with frequent phone and email interaction
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and support wherever needed
  • Confidence using basic Microsoft tools such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to stay calm and solution-focused when supporting customer inquiries

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or office administration
  • Exposure to wine, wineries, or wine clubs

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and supporting guests and wine club members through phone, email, online, and in-person interactions
  • Assisting with wine orders, club shipments, deliveries, and general inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Supporting guest house bookings at both estates, including managing reservations, processing payments, and assisting guests before, during, and after their stay
  • Coordinating tasting room reservations and helping ensure a seamless guest experience from start to finish
  • Maintaining accurate customer and wine club member records, including profiles, preferences, and special requests
  • Following up on declined payments, missed deliveries, or lapsed memberships with a helpful and solutions-focused approach
  • Assisting with wine club communications and seasonal releases to ensure members stay informed and engaged
  • Supporting estate events such as concerts, performances, and special member experiences
  • Collaborating with internal teams across both wineries to ensure smooth operations and consistent service
  • Building familiarity with our wines and experiences to confidently guide guests and make personalized recommendations
