About The Position

At Tioga Downs, we’re looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Guest Relations Specialist to join our Serenity Spa team. In this role, you’ll be the first and last point of contact for guests—ensuring every visit is smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. This is a great opportunity for someone starting a career in cosmetology or the spa industry.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong customer service experience and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and listening abilities
• Experience with scheduling, organization, and cash handling
• Basic computer knowledge

Nice To Haves

• Spa or salon experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and create a positive first and last impression
• Answer phone calls and assist with guest questions about services and products
• Schedule, update, and manage spa appointments efficiently
• Check guests in, process payments, and maintain accurate records
• Promote spa services, retail products, and current promotions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked reception area
• Handle cash transactions and maintain the spa desk bank
• Attend team meetings and training sessions
• Communicate guest or staff concerns to management and help find solutions
