Requirements
- Enthusiasm for providing outstanding retail Customer Service.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.
- Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, push carts, lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and push/pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail, grocery, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist cashiers during busy times with bagging groceries and providing Customer Service.
- Retrieve carts from parking and staging areas to ensure availability for Customers.
- Monitor and support self-checkout stations, providing quick assistance when needed.
- Keep front-end supplies stocked, including bags, receipt paper, and cleaning materials.
- Perform light restocking of impulse items and maintain organized displays.
- Help keep the front-end area clean, organized, and safe.
- Oversee the Customer Relations Desk to assist with register overrides and Guest inquiries.
- Provide courteous, professional assistance to Customers at all times.
- Support the overall front-end team to ensure smooth operations and excellent service.
- Follow all Plum Market policies, procedures, and safety standards.
