The Guest Experience Supervisor provides oversight and leadership to the Department of Hospitality. This role collaborates with Registration and group leaders in the orchestration of guest events, and has comprehensive oversight and execution of guest events from check-in through to final checkout. The supervisor follows up with group leaders during their retreat to ensure an exceptional guest experience and assists the Director in the coordination and management of the Welcome Center functions (phones, evaluations, mail, office communications, SBCC Base Radio, etc.). This position is responsible for scheduling staff and allocating resources to meet the needs of guests within budget effectively, as well as training and supervising the performance of the Summer staff. The Guest Experience Supervisor creates and maintains systems and procedures to meet housekeeping standards set by the County Health Department and SBCC, and works with vendors to obtain competitive pricing on Hospitality supplies. They also maintain a solid inventory of supplies and products, including safety and emergency items.
