About The Position

The Guest Experience Host is responsible for the guest’s customer service experience while at our Outdoorsy Bayfield park. As the first friendly face the guests will see on the property, it is the Guest Experience Host’s goal to deliver an extraordinary check-in, check-out, and scheduling experience. This role asks for an upbeat and empathetic person that is excited to work with people and has a love for the outdoors. The goal of this role is to ensure brand standards of excellence, answer inquiries and make the guest’s administrative journey as seamless as possible.

Requirements

  • Skilled in navigating various hardware platforms, including laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Proven ability to remain calm and effective in an agile, fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to pivot between tasks quickly without sacrificing attention to detail.
  • Maintains a polished and professional demeanor when interacting with guests, vendors, and associates.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
  • Capable of remaining on your feet for up to 8 hours per day and lifting between 15–25 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for guests and vendors, providing professional and welcoming representation of the brand.
  • Manage high-volume incoming inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, resolving concerns regarding reservations, billing statements, and general guest needs.
  • Conduct occasional outbound communication to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve pending issues.
  • Facilitate maintenance and housekeeping workflows by creating and delegating service tickets to ensure timely property upkeep.
  • Monitor and verify unit availability to coordinate effectively with external scheduling vendors.
  • Execute accurate cash handling and payment processing using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Foster strong internal partnerships and maintain open communication channels with support teams to optimize operational efficiency.
