As a Guest Experience Assistant / Concierge, you’ll provide personalized recommendations, local expertise, and exceptional guest service while helping create seamless and unforgettable experiences both inside and outside the hotel. Requirements

Previous concierge, hotel, hospitality, guest service, luxury service, tourism, or customer service experience preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with a polished and professional presence.
Excellent knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, transportation, nightlife, entertainment, and destination experiences preferred.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs and create personalized experiences.
Experience using reservations systems, guest service platforms, and hotel operational systems preferred.
Positive, outgoing, and service-driven mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and support overall hotel operations.
Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and event support as needed.
A passion for hospitality, guest engagement, relationship-building, and creating unforgettable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Provide personalized guest service and local recommendations including dining, entertainment, attractions, transportation, shopping, and destination experiences.
Assist guests with reservations, tickets, transportation arrangements, directions, and special requests throughout their stay.
Build strong relationships with local businesses, restaurants, entertainment venues, transportation providers, and tourism partners to enhance guest experiences.
Support VIP arrivals, special occasions, amenities, group guests, and elevated hospitality experiences as needed.
Respond quickly and professionally to guest requests, service recovery situations, and operational concerns to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
Maintain strong knowledge of hotel amenities, services, promotions, local events, and destination information.
Coordinate closely with Front Desk, Bell Services, Valet, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and hotel leadership teams to support seamless guest experiences.
Assist with package handling, luggage coordination, transportation support, and lobby guest service operations as needed.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards across concierge desks, lobby spaces, and guest-facing areas.
Support guest loyalty initiatives and personalized hospitality experiences aligned with Sonesta’s People People culture.
Help create a warm, welcoming, polished, and service-focused environment for every guest interaction.
Any other duties as assigned.
