About The Position

The Guest Concierge Receptionist is responsible for providing genuine and authentic guest service according to the Jeff Ruby standards. This position will assist all Jeff Ruby restaurants from the central location, in downtown Cincinnati. The Guest Concierge Receptionist provides clerical and reception support to the restaurants and guest relations manager, including answering telephones, taking reservations, directing callers to the appropriate person/website, assisting with gift card balances and our guest loyalty program.

Requirements

• Ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of calls.
• Proficiency in answering telephone systems.
• Skill in making referrals and taking messages.
• Ability to direct incoming calls appropriately.
• Experience assisting guests with loyalty accounts.
• Experience assisting guests with gift card balances.
• Ability to maintain open communication.
• Accuracy in updating customer account information.
• Willingness to assist other departments.
• High Touch customer service approach for special occasions and requests.
• Ability to assist Guest Relations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize high volume of calls for all Jeff Ruby restaurants, including answering telephone systems, making referrals, taking messages, and directing incoming calls appropriately.
• Assist guests with their loyalty account.
• Assist guests in determining their gift card balance.
• Maintain an open line of communication between guests, management, and other team members.
• Update customer account information daily and ensure accurate entry.
• Assist other departments as requested or assigned.
• Be High Touch minded when inquiring about special occasions & special requests for reservations.
• Assist the Guest Relations Manager in additional guest relation needs.
