About The Position

This On-Demand Guest Advocate role at Target involves flexibility in scheduling, allowing team members to work as much or as little as they desire. Team members are not on a fixed weekly schedule but can create their own by picking up available shifts through the myTime mobile scheduling app. Reliable attendance and active engagement by working at least one shift every four weeks are required. The role is based in small format stores, focusing on ensuring products are in stock, accurately priced, and well-presented on the sales floor. Team members will provide exceptional guest service, anticipate needs, and be proficient in various store duties including cashiering, stocking, and maintaining store presentation. This position offers opportunities to develop skills in guest service, retail business fundamentals, and supporting business priorities.

Flexibility in picking up shifts (nights, weekends, holidays) to meet store needs.
Active engagement by picking up and working shifts and responding to contact attempts.
Must work at least one shift within 5 months.
Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements.
Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.

Assist with truck unload process and stock product to the sales floor.
Execute adjacency changes, transitions, revisions, and sales plans for all departments.
Conduct weekly price change workload and ensure signing is accurate.
Complete scans and system audit functions for inventory accuracy.
Support execution of major transitions.
Maintain interior and exterior brand standards, including cleanliness and cart management.
Execute all Fills (floor, liability, guest requests, backstock) accurately.
Process all inbound deliveries using the receive application.
Complete all backroom weekly audits.
Operate power equipment if certified.
Maintain backroom organization and location accuracy.
Follow processes accurately with attention to detail, monitor progress, and prioritize tasks.
Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
Work safely at all times and report/correct hazards.
Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU), and Drive-up (DU).
Maintain compliance with adult beverage laws when executing duties.
Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
