About The Position

This role is for an On-Demand Team Member at Target, specifically in Small Format Stores. As an On-Demand TM, you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like, creating your own schedule by picking up available shifts through the myTime mobile scheduling app. Reliable attendance and active engagement (working at least one shift every four weeks) are crucial. You will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a short-term structured training. In Small Format Stores, the focus is on ensuring product availability, accurate pricing, and presentation on the sales floor. Team members are expected to be proficient in various areas including cashiering, stocking, and maintaining store standards, while providing exceptional guest service.

Occasionally lift or move merchandise and fixtures up to 44 pounds without assistance.
Flexibility in picking up shifts (nights, weekends, holidays) to meet store needs.
Active engagement by picking up and working shifts and responding to contact attempts.
Must work at least one shift within 5 months.
Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements.
Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly, make eye contact, and initiate helpful interactions.
Assist guests in finding products and resolving issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Work in all departments to ensure the sales floor is full, zoned, and in stock.
Assist with truck unload process and stock product to the sales floor.
Execute adjacency changes, transitions, revisions, and sales plans for all departments.
Conduct weekly price change workload and ensure signing is set accurately.
Complete scans and system audit functions for inventory accuracy.
Support execution of major transitions.
Maintain interior and exterior brand standards, including cleanliness and cart management.
Accurately execute all Fills (floor, liability, guest requests, backstock).
Process all inbound deliveries using the receive application.
Complete all backroom weekly audits.
Operate power equipment if certified.
Maintain backroom organization and location accuracy.
Follow processes accurately with attention to detail, monitor progress, and prioritize tasks.
Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
Work safely at all times, comply with safety policies, and report hazards.
Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU), and Drive-up (DU).
Maintain compliance with adult beverage laws.
Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
