About The Position

This role is for an On-Demand Team Member (TM) at Target, specifically in a Small Format store. As an On-Demand TM, you have the flexibility to work as much or as little as you like, with a schedule that varies based on shift availability and store needs. You will not be on a posted weekly schedule but can create your own by picking up shifts via the myTime mobile scheduling app. Reliable attendance is crucial when you pick up a shift. You are required to pick up and work at least one shift every four weeks (minimum of four hours) and respond to attempts to contact you regarding shift availability. Failure to respond or work a shift within five months can lead to termination. This role involves creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by greeting guests, helping them find items, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. You will also support team efforts, adjust to business needs, and maintain a positive attitude. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, ensuring product availability, accuracy in pricing and signing, assisting with truck unload, executing sales plans, conducting price changes, completing inventory audits, and maintaining store cleanliness. You may also support guest services like back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU), and Drive-up (DU), adhering to compliance regulations. The role requires operating power equipment if certified and maintaining backroom organization. Ethical conduct, safety, and compliance are paramount, requiring work in a safe manner and reporting hazards.

Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise and fixtures up to 44 pounds without additional assistance from others.
Flexibility when picking up shifts (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) to help meet store needs.
Active engagement by picking up and working shifts as well as responding to our attempts at contact. You must work at least one shift within 5 months or you will be administratively terminated.
Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary).

Responsibilities

Assist with truck unload process and stock product to the sales floor.
Execute adjacency changes, transitions, revisions and sales plans for all departments.
Conduct weekly price change workload and ensure regular and promotional signing is set accurately for all departments.
Complete scans and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy.
Support execution of major transitions.
Maintain interior and exterior brand, including emptying garbage cans and attending to restroom cleanliness, collecting carts, charging electronic carts, recycling (if applicable) and attending to spills throughout the store as needed.
Accurately execute all Fills (i.e., fill the floor, liability fills, and guest requests and backstock product from all departments.
Process all inbound deliveries (using the receive application) to ensure inventory accuracy.
Complete all backroom weekly audits.
Operate power equipment only if certified.
Maintain backroom organization and location accuracy and follow equipment guidelines.
Follow processes accurately with attention to detail, monitor own progress and accurately prioritize tasks.
Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.
