About The Position
This is a seasonal role at Target, with various positions available including Cashier, General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Front of Store Attendant (Cart Attendant), Style, and Inbound (Stocking). Working at Target means helping all families discover the joy of everyday life. These roles offer opportunities to gain knowledge of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals. Responsibilities
- Act as a sales force of specialized consultants who provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket.
- Act as advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Act as experts of operations, process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.
- Accurately handle cash register operations.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
