This On-Demand Guest Advocate role is for Target's Small Formats stores. As an On-Demand Team Member (TM), you can work as much or as little as you like, with a schedule that varies based on shift availability and store needs. You will not be on the posted weekly schedule but will create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app. Reliable and prompt attendance is necessary when you pick up a shift. Active engagement is required by picking up and working shifts once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Flexibility can be granted in certain circumstances, but you are required to respond to attempts to contact you to confirm your interest in working shifts at Target. Failure to respond may result in termination. Employment will be administratively terminated if you do not work at least one shift within 5 months. Communication and the ability to work when business demands it are critical. Upon offer, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule. After training, the myTime mobile scheduling app is where you can pick up shifts. In Small Formats, we enable a consistent guest experience by ensuring product is in stock, available, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. This team is responsible for being proficient in all areas of the store, including cashiering, stocking, presentation, and price accuracy. You will provide exceptional guest service, customizing each experience and anticipating guest needs. This role can provide skills and experience in guest service fundamentals, building a guest-first culture, retail business fundamentals (sales trends, pricing, inventory management, process efficiency), and supporting daily/weekly workload to meet business priorities and sales goals.
