Accurately handle checkout operations, transactions, and support cash office operations as needed.
Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving product up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without additional assistance.
Maintain a flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); come to work when scheduled, work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks.
Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary).
Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly, making eye contact and initiating helpful interactions.
Help guests find items and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience.
Make guests aware of current promotions, store activities, and events.
Understand and show guests how to use features and offerings within the Target App, including Wallet.
Know and explain the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-ups.
Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards.
Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.
Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive-Up, and online ordering, and direct guests on how to use these features.
Attempt every return or exchange, following register prompts and partnering with leaders to solve issues.
Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers.
Stock supplies during store open hours while remaining available for guests.
Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
Work in a safe manner at all times, complying with safety policies and training.
Support guest services such as Order Pick-Up (OPU) and Drive-Up (DU) Orders, and maintain compliance with adult beverage laws.
Accurately handle checkout operations and transactions.
Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely.
